Why won't my boyfriend commit?

Hi James, I just want to know which way to turn in my life and what my dad would advise me to do. Is he watching over me? Are any of my family there to give me spiritual advice?

I have met a nice guy I think, but still love the guy I left last June ...what should I do? The new guy wants to take things slow, like he is scared of commitment, but I want to be loved so much. Hope you can help.

Dear Angie, We all want commitment but it's that insecurity that makes us feel that way. Your new guy does love you but at the moment he is happy the way things are. Not because he does not love you or he is keeping his options open but you are like a piece of the jigsaw he needs to fill in his love life.

Your dad was a confident guy he just does not understand why you need this guy to commit and to be honest you know what your dad would think of him, don't you.
